Missions & Mode Tactics
General tactics for common modes. Adapt to the map and your team. Communication helps more than any single tactic.
Team Deathmatch (TDM)
- After respawn, fly toward your teammates. Isolated players get focused.
- Trade efficiently. Do not chase one kill into a bad position.
- Light fighters and gun jets excel at cleaning up damaged targets. Interceptors can pick off targets from range.
- Watch the score. If you are ahead, play safer. If behind, look for grouped fights to swing momentum.
Air Superiority (AS)
- Points matter more than pure kills. Capture or contest points when you can do so safely.
- Support a wingman who is already on a point instead of starting a new fight elsewhere.
- Attack jets and durable heavies can hold points. Lights and mediums clear the area first.
- Do not abandon a point you are winning just to chase a kill across the map.
Priority Target / other modes
- Identify the priority early and coordinate on it if possible.
- Protect your own priority if the mode requires it. One player can draw attention while others focus.
- Use the minimap. Knowing where the fight is concentrated beats flying in blind.
General winning habits
- Finish the tutorial and practice camera + flare timing.
- Hold plane levels near 3, 8, 11, or 20 for better matchmaking.
- Call targets or threats if you are using voice.
- Review one death per match. What killed you and what you could have done differently.
